In 1989, Kurt moved from Perth, Ontario Canada (where he practiced real estate with his father since 1982) to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and obtained his Broker’s license for South Carolina in order to further pursue a career in Real Estate.

Since Kurt moved to the US, he has worked with and owned a Real Estate Appraisal Company in Rochester NY,  established, owned and operated a software company (pioneering the idea of placing FEMA flood maps on CD ROM making them easily accessible to any user); moved to Austin TX where he partnered and established another software company dedicated to market towards commercial real estate appraisers.

In 2004, moved back to Myrtle Beach, SC, where he was a business consultant for prominent firms along the Grand Strand.

Going back to his roots, he re-launched an exciting part of his successful career when he started selling real estate along the Grand Strand. Since then, he has created a successful fractional interest marketing and sales company, named, East Coast Fractionals (a Fractional Ownership real estate company) and with Scrivens & Associates, as founder and Broker-In-Charge.

Kurt is also responsible for land acquisitions and assemblages, retail purchases and leasing, new development, and general brokerage for Scrivens & Associates in both North and South Carolina.

Elizabeth Scrivens

Elizabeth, a native of North Myrtle Beach, started in the real estate industry in 1988 in Myrtle Beach. In 1992 moved to Rochester NY with her fiancé, and in 1995 obtained her BA in Psychology and got married; Beth then jointly owned and operated successful software companies with her husband.

In 2004 Beth returned to Myrtle Beach (home) with her husband and daughter, and now sells real estate with East Coast Fractionals and Scrivens & Associates.

Mike relocated from Boston in 1993 to Myrtle Beach and has been licensed in Real Estate since 2001 and specializing in pre construction oceanfront as well as investment oceanfront property.

He is an advocate in building a relationship first which helps meet the clients needs for the long run. He believes Myrtle Beach is a unique market unlike any on the East coast and looks forward to working with you to attain your real estate goals. He is married with 3 beautiful girls.
